2012 Flower Calendar: Is on the bulletin board in the church narthex/gathering area. Stop by and pick your favorite Sunday to provide flowers/plants for the church sanctuary.

The Life Celebration Committee: Is looking for new volunteers to help with providing meals for funerals, and other celebrations of life for members of the church. There is a sign-up sheet located on the table in the gathering/narthex area for your name and what job you would be willing to help with, someone from the committee will be available to answer any questions you may have concerning this committee.

Calling All Cooks: We are looking for volunteers to help prepare meals for the Wednesday night youth program. Volunteers would need to prepare a meal for approximately 20 people to be served around 6:45 pm each Wednesday night. If you would like to donate food or money to purchase food, but are unable to prepare the meal itself, we would welcome that as well. Look for the sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex, or contact Mindy Brewer at 712-545-3315 for more information.

Containers, Containers, Containers: We have an overabundance of dessert/food containers from the many concerts, programs, and potlucks that were held at the church and that have been left in the kitchen area and the coffee area. If you have provided goodies during this time and forgotten to retrieve your containers, please do so at your earliest convenience. Thank you for providing all the delicious food when the call is given.

The Breakout Youth Group: will attend the Winter Jam Concert on Thursday, February 16^th. The cost is a $10.00 donation at the door, and scholarships are available. Meet at the church at 5:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. For more information contact Lynne Masters.

New Horizon to Host Evening Musicale Concert: Sunday, February 19^th at 7:00 pm and will feature a combined choir from several are churches, and individual and small group performances by local musicians. The concert is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.

Ash Wednesday Service: February 22^nd at Carter Lake Community Presbyterian Church, 3030 N 9^th Street (near Locust St.), Carter Lake. Rev. Paul Masters will be preaching. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
